Celebrating Term 2

It’s hard to believe that we are nearly at the end of Term 2 of this academic year. It has been a busy and productive term for the children and staff with so much to celebrate. Classrooms have been buzzing with the children’s learning and topics have inspired some amazing homework projects across all year groups. The Vikings and the Romans have invaded Y6 and Y4. Sports teams have been busy taking part in competitions and demonstrating PRIDE. It has rained, lots, but that has not stopped the children of Oakway having fun. This week the children and families have embraced the Christmas Jumper day in aid of Save the Children charity, very impressive, and Santa visited the cake sale with his buddy Rudolph!

I wish all children and families a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year and look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 6th January.
